FF Plate bid results – RM34mil in Total.

The FF series of number plates in Malaysia has garnered significant acclaim, accumulating a total of RM34.2 million in collections. This makes the FF series the most successful collection since the introduction of JPJ eBid, as revealed by the Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke Siew Fook.

The highest-priced number plate in the series is FF8, fetching a remarkable RM950,000. Following closely is FF9, sold for RM911,999, while FF3 claims the third spot with a price tag of RM639,000. Notably, FF2 secured fourth place, with a value of RM638,000, closely followed by FF7 in fifth place, valued at RM633,000.

In terms of participation, the FF number plate series attracted a total of 34,032 bidders, out of which 8,348 emerged as successful bidders. This means that out of the 9,999 available numbers, 8,348 numbers from this series were bid upon.

The results of the FF plate JPJ eBid are as follows: a total collection of RM34 million, the highest ever recorded. The most expensive number plate, FF8, sold for RM950,000, and the second most expensive, FF9, fetched RM912,000.

In terms of popularity, the number plate FF199 generated the greatest interest, attracting 34 bidders. It was closely followed by FF51, which received bids from 32 individuals. Three number plates from this series, namely FF155, FF555, and FF1688, shared the third spot, with each plate garnering 29 bidders.

The tender for the Putrajaya number plate series commenced on May 14, with the JPJ announcing a 24-hour extension for bidding until 10 PM on May 19. This extension was granted due to service disruptions experienced during the bidding period, which resulted in public complaints. The JPJ eBid system encountered instability caused by high traffic towards the end of the original bidding deadline on May 18.
